Mafia: The Old Country Game Director Addresses Fans Ahead of Ennio Salieri DLC Release

Plenty of new content is coming to the game soon.

In August, fans and developers are celebrating the first anniversary of Mafia: The Old Country. The game director of the project published a message to the community on a social network.

Alex Cox thanked players for their support and also reminded them that the Man of Honor story expansion for Mafia: The Old Country will be released soon. The DLC features a character who is well known to fans of the first installment in the franchise:

It is hard to believe that a full year has already passed since the release of Mafia: The Old Country. It is incredibly rewarding to see how much Enzo’s story has meant to so many of you. From all of us at Hangar 13: thank you for playing and for being a part of this journey. Your love for this unique chapter of the Mafia franchise has been the best reward we could have ever dreamed of. Thanks to your support, we were able to continue Enzo’s story and introduce Ennio Salieri into it in the Man of Honor expansion. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to spend a little more time in Sicily with the Torrisi family, and we cannot wait to share the new story with you.

The release of the Man of Honor expansion for Mafia: The Old Country is scheduled for August 14. The developers will add not only story content to the game, but also new knives, weapons, trinkets, vehicles, headwear, and equipment items.
