Mafia: The Old Country Co-Creators Developing New Game Based on Major Hollywood Franchise
Stormind Games, recognized for the Remothered series and its collaboration on Mafia: The Old Country, has announced a substantial capital injection.
Marsa Holding has invested in the venture, acquiring a 10% stake in Stormind Holding. Intesa Sanpaolo and Mediocredito Centrale also joined the transaction, strengthening the financing package.
The studio plans to allocate the funds to develop a new game tied to a major Hollywood franchise. The project will build on the momentum of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, published by Saber Interactive and set within Paramount’s film universe.
Studio director Antonio Cannata emphasized that the team intends to preserve its independence and distinctive creative voice:
“We want to create something Italy has never seen before. We reject investor pressure — we choose creative freedom and an international scale.”
