Life Is Strange Creators Are Making a Game for Netflix
Dontnod — the studio responsible for Life is Strange — is developing a new title in collaboration with Netflix. The team is adapting one of the streaming giant’s well-known franchises, and the gameplay is said to evoke the narrative tone of Life is Strange and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
The company published its latest half-year financial report. According to the filing, the studio’s revenue climbed from €3.8 million to €7 million, though the most notable development is a bold new partnership agreement.
Dontnod Entertainment, which operates as both developer and publisher, marked an important milestone in its 17-year history. The report reveals that the studio’s Montreal division is working on a videogame based on one of Netflix’s flagship franchises.
The project’s title remains undisclosed, but the studio indicates the production will prioritize story and emotional resonance — elements that define much of Dontnod’s catalogue.
