Suda51 Wants to Return to the Dark Style of His Early Games
Grasshopper Manufacture head Goichi “Suda51” Suda is considering a return to the creative direction of his early projects, he told Famitsu in an interview.
Suda said that after finishing work on his latest game, Romeo is a Dead Man, he spent most of his time managing the company and improving working conditions.

Suda named Moonlight Syndrome, The Silver Case, Flower, Sun and Rain, and killer7 as reference points. He wants to show again that Grasshopper Manufacture can create dark, serious and chaotic game worlds, rather than just the colorful action games often associated with the studio because of the No More Heroes series.
He also said he wants to finally release Moonlight Syndrome outside Japan. Suda considers the game an important starting point in his career and would like to give it a full international release first.
