Unknown Worlds published its LEVIATHAN collaboration shortly before Subnautica 2 entered Early Access on May 14, 2026. Webtoon artist Noh Mi-young combined characters and visual language from the post-apocalyptic series LEVIATHAN with three recognizable leviathans from the Subnautica universe.

What the collaboration contains

The project is an official celebration drawing and interview-style feature, not a playable crossover pack. Noh Mi-young reinterpreted three Subnautica leviathans alongside LEVIATHAN characters and discussed her response to the underwater setting. The artwork does not announce that the webtoon cast, locations or story will appear inside Subnautica 2.

LEVIATHAN is a post-apocalyptic action webtoon in which enormous sea creatures threaten the remnants of humanity. The shared word “leviathan” created a natural visual link with Unknown Worlds’ ocean-survival series, but the properties retain separate stories and rights. Unknown Worlds scheduled the collaboration before the May 14, 2026 Early Access launch. Subnautica 2 entered Early Access on that date.
