Kingdom Hearts IV Will Not Be Delayed, Nomura Confirms 2027 Release
Square Enix does not plan to postpone the launch of Kingdom Hearts IV past its late 2027 release window, according to director Tetsuya Nomura.
During Disney D23, Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV and reaffirmed that the game is set to launch in late 2027. Following the presentation, Nomura addressed fan speculation regarding potential release shifts.
We announced that the game will come out in late 2027, and I saw some people online saying, “Oh, you know, maybe the real release date might still be delayed.”
I just wanted to clear things up – that is not going to happen. So I hope people look forward to the game in 2027. Marketing for the game has only just started, so I also hope you look forward to more news.
