Kidbash: Super Legend shows new gameplay trailer at The MIX

Acclaim, Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon have shown a new gameplay trailer for Kidbash: Super Legend. The video appeared during The MIX: Summer Game Showcase and gives a closer look at the claymation roguelike action-platformer.

The game follows a hero who wakes up in O.D.D., a world where forgotten video game characters live. He has no memory of his past, but the journey quickly turns into a mix of fighting, platforming, village rebuilding and roguelike progression.

The new trailer focuses on motion and combat. Kidbash moves through bright locations, avoids hazards, fights bosses and uses different weapons. The weapon fusion system lets players combine tools into stronger hybrids, while upgrades shape each new run.

The developers cite classic adventures such as Mega Man and Kirby as touchpoints, but Kidbash: Super Legend adds its own claymation look. Characters and environments are built to feel like small handmade figures moving through a toy-like world.

  • Action-platforming: fast movement, hazards and boss fights are central to the new trailer.
  • Roguelike upgrades: each run adds new choices and ways to strengthen Kidbash.
  • Weapon fusion: players can combine weapons into hybrid tools for combat.
  • Village rebuilding: progress is tied to restoring a destroyed village in O.D.D.
  • Claymation style: the visual direction uses chunky handmade characters and colorful sets.

Kidbash: Super Legend is planned for Steam and consoles in early 2027. The game is published by Acclaim, Inc. and developed by Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon.
