Role-Playing Game Songs of Glimmerwick Released
The creators of Eastshade invite players to spend a school year at a magic university.
Songs of Glimmerwick, a role-playing game about studying at a magic university from the creators of Eastshade, has been released on Steam.
The story takes place in a woodland fantasy world where spells are cast using music. The main character enrolls in the local university and spends a full school year there attending classes, making friends, joining clubs, and gradually unraveling local mysteries.
In free time away from studies, players can explore the island, garden, fish, play in a musical band, and go on forest expeditions. By mastering ancient songs, the character learns to talk to trees, enchant instruments, summon rain, and alter the terrain to reach new areas. Progressing through the game unlocks skills for gardening and trade, as well as more unusual abilities like communicating with frogs.
A free demo is available on Steam, and the full version is available at a 10% discount until October 14.
