“Insidious 6” Gets Digital Release Date

The horror film Insidious: Fear the Dark is set to arrive on digital platforms on October 6, according to the tracking site WhenToStream.

Following its theatrical debut in August, the movie amassed over $160 million at the global box office. The plot centers on Gemma (Amelia Eve), a single mother fighting off malevolent entities that have escaped from the Further.

Directed by Jacob Chase (Come Play), the film sees the return of Lin Shaye to her iconic role as Elise Rainier. The sixth installment of the franchise received a mixed critical reception, currently holding a 58% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
