Insider Reports Rockstar Plans to Release Red Dead Redemption 2 on Switch 2
Rockstar Games planned to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 to the Nintendo Switch 2, and the port could still happen according to insider Nate the Hate.
The insider reported hearing about a version of Red Dead Redemption 2 for Nintendo’s new console. The game is not officially announced yet, but the port was supposedly part of Rockstar Games’ plans.
GTA VI remains the main issue right now. Rockstar has dedicated massive resources to the new game and will likely avoid releasing two major projects around the same time. This does not mean RDR 2 for Switch 2 is canceled, though players will have to wait for details.
Nate the Hate also mentioned Starfield and Doom: The Dark Ages. Both games were supposedly planned for Switch 2 but faced uncertainty. Starfield ran into serious trouble during port development, and team changes at id Software could affect Doom: The Dark Ages.

RDR 2 looks especially interesting because the first installment is already available on Nintendo hardware, and a port of the sequel would be a major addition to the Switch 2 library.
