Insider: Genshin Impact Replaced Candace’s Voice Actress After She Supported the Strike
Further changes are underway in Genshin’s English voice cast.
The fallout from the U.S. actors’ union strike is still being felt in 2025. Recently, reports have surfaced that another English voice in Genshin Impact is set to be replaced.
According to homdgcat, the English voice actress for Kandaki will indeed be swapped out. He did not specify who will take over the role — the entry currently shows “Anonymous.”
A few months ago Shara Kirby (Shara Kirby), along with several colleagues who also joined the strike, publicly criticized the new voice actor for Kinich — who was brought in to replace a striking performer.
At that time she said she had “stepped away” — it appears no fresh agreement with miHoYo (HoYoverse) was reached. Fans are now waiting for an announcement naming the new voice actress.
