If Owen Lars Were Still Alive, PowerWash Simulator 2’s Next DLC Would Probably Kill Him

The next expansion for PowerWash Simulator 2 is a Star Wars-themed collaboration that might just give Owen Lars a serious case of heartburn. You’ll step into the boots of a P0-W2 labor droid, equipped with a high-tech pressure washer to scrub grime from iconic locations across the galaxy—including the legendary Lars homestead. Just where all that water comes from on a parched desert planet is a mystery best left to the moisture farmers.

FuturLab plans to drop this intergalactic cleaning pack in the summer of 2026. Priced at $9.99, it will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Players can expect to tackle iconic settings like the moisture farm on Tatooine, a Rebel Alliance base on Hoth, and even the bridge of a massive Super Star Destroyer. While the developers have kept some secrets, they’ve confirmed that you’ll be scrubbing down X-Wings tucked away in hangars and exploring the chilly, cavernous depths of a Hoth outpost.

The official Steam description hints at a bit of narrative flair, noting: “Your average assignment quickly spirals into being commandeered to carry out the Empire’s dirty work, before clearing the way for the Rebel Alliance. Rebellions are built on hope, and soap.”

Whether this implies a full story campaign or simply clever flavor text remains to be seen, but FuturLab has promised an abundance of hidden references and Easter eggs for both Imperial and Rebel fans.

“For generations, Star Wars has captivated audiences with its vibrant galaxy and unforgettable moments,” said Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FuturLab, in a press statement. “It has been a privilege for our team to bring the PowerWash Simulator 2 experience into a galaxy far, far away and shine a light on the unsung work of the P0-W2 cleaning droids.”

True to the spirit of the series, the Star Wars DLC will support both solo play and multiplayer co-op, allowing you to recruit friends to help tackle the grime or manage the galactic cleanup entirely on your own.
