One-Punch Man Season 3 Trailer Criticized by Fans Over Animation Quality Ahead of 2027 Release
Some viewers call the video “the final nail in the coffin” and hope for a remake by another studio.
The creators of One-Punch Man have released a trailer for the second part of season 3 and announced that the continuation will begin airing in January 2027. Alongside the video, a new poster was revealed, but some fans once again criticized the animation quality and even called for the series to be canceled, unconvinced that the continuation will fix the issues of the first part.

“Slide-show man returns.”
“Maybe they’ll just cancel the anime and put it out of its misery? We get more frames in Murata’s manga.”
“Gentlemen, it’s been real. This is the final nail in the coffin for the One-Punch Man anime. It’s incredible how they managed to ruin an arc with such huge potential. I hope people forget about this over time and we get a remake from a studio that can actually do the series justice.”
Some viewers still thought the trailer looked better than the first part, but only because the quality bar was already extremely low.
As a reminder, season 3 is being produced by studio J.C.STAFF, with Shinpei Nagai serving as director. Tomohiro Suzuki is in charge of series composition, and Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music.
An exact premiere date for the second part of season 3 has not been announced yet.
