Charlie Cox Mocked Mike Colter Over The Defenders Leak

Not all actors manage to keep Marvel secrets.

Charlie Cox shared how he joked with Mike Colter on the set of the third season of “Daredevil: Born Again” after Colter leaked the return of the Defenders ahead of time.

“Yeah, it was a complete mess. The only upside was every day on set after that… You know, actors are given script pages with scene numbers and daily lines. Every time I saw those pages on him, I asked, ‘Guys, are we sure Mike is allowed to have this? Are we sure we should be giving him something like this?’ He was very stressed out about what happened.”

Back in April 2026, Colter, who plays Luke Cage, published a photo with Finn Jones and Krysten Ritter with the caption: “Long time no see…”. Fans viewed the picture as the first confirmation of the Defenders reuniting, although Marvel officially announced their return only recently at New York Comic-Con.

The third season will be the final one for “Daredevil: Born Again”. Its premiere on Disney+ is expected in March 2027.
