Hooded Horse to Publish Pathbreakers: Roaming Blades
The game is being developed by 6 Eyes Studio, the team behind Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark.
Publisher Hooded Horse has announced it will publish Pathbreakers: Roaming Blades, a new turn-based RPG from 6 Eyes Studio, creators of Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark.
Roaming Blades offers classic tactical gameplay reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics, but on a hexagonal grid rather than squares, with a focus on the exploits of a mercenary band.
In battle, up to eight units from the player’s squad act according to an initiative order; each unit receives nine action points per turn to spend on movement and abilities. The familiar class lineup (tanks, healers, rogues, bards) is enhanced by a choice of two advanced specializations when characters reach the required level. Outside combat there’s an island map, towns, contracts, branching quests, and raid activities.
The developers promise extensive modding support from day one: Steam Workshop integration, map and spell editors, and all data saved in standard JSON files.
