Hogwarts Legacy Receives October Patch with Performance Improvements and ROG Xbox Ally Support

The developers remain active and continue to roll out updates.

In October the team behind Hogwarts Legacy issued another update. This technical patch delivers a series of fixes addressing mods and performance/stability, and Avalanche Software has added support for additional handheld devices.

Mod-related fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the message “Installation paused” displayed incorrectly when updating mods.
  • Resolved a sorting bug affecting the “Highest Rated” filter.
  • Fixed a UI issue that caused the “Load Game” label to be truncated in the mods menu at certain resolutions.
  • Addressed a problem where the “Report” button would not function if it had been previously pressed.
  • Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented access to the “Load Game” menu within the “Enabled Mods” section.
  • Resolved an issue where the “Copy Save” button did not work when using a controller.

Stability / performance

  • Fixed incorrect graphics profiles that were being applied on some handheld devices.
  • Adjusted system configurations for AMD-based CPUs to improve overall PC stability.

Other

  • Added support for Xbox ROG Ally and Xbox ROG Ally X.
  • Improved performance for entry-level Intel PCs using XeSS and XeFG.
  • Optimized support for XeLL technology.
