Hideo Kojima Addresses Whether Physint Will Release on PlayStation 6
Physint might launch on the PS6. Hideo Kojima stated that decisions regarding platforms now depend on Xbox, meaning a version for Sony’s console is currently neither confirmed nor ruled out.
Physint was initially created with PlayStation’s backing as a next-generation project. After Sony declined support, Kojima Productions received backing from Xbox, which became the game’s publisher. This raised questions about its appearance on PlayStation consoles.
In an interview with IGN, Kojima was asked about a PS6 version. The creator of Metal Gear Solid neither confirmed nor ruled it out:
I don’t know the answer to that question—you should ask Xbox. However, I’m not sure. In previous statements, Xbox has maintained an approach where they want to reach as many players as possible, regardless of the platform. I think everything will be announced later. For now, I’m not sure and can’t say anything.

Physint is in the early stages of development, and its release is expected a long time from now. The main takeaway for now is that the PS6 version is neither confirmed nor canceled, and Xbox will make the final decision regarding platforms.
