Dragon Age Writer Helped Owlcat Develop The Expanse: Osiris Reborn
Dragon Age writer David Gaider is working with Owlcat Games on the narrative for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.
The studio is developing the third-person sci-fi action RPG alongside its new cRPG, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy.
Gaider, known for his work on Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, founded Summerfall Studios and released the musical project Stray Gods after leaving BioWare. He recently discussed his collaboration with Owlcat Games:
Alongside my work at Summerfall Studios, I’m also working with the team at Owlcat Games on The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. I’m working on certain aspects of the game’s narrative. The Expanse has long been one of my favorite TV series, so I was naturally delighted to jump at the opportunity to be involved in the project.
Gaider said he appreciates how attentive Owlcat Games is to fans. He praised the developers for responding to criticism by recently updating the voice acting and the protagonist’s default appearance.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn can be added to wishlists on Steam. Owlcat Games has not announced a specific release date, but it has set a release window of the second quarter of 2027.
