The future of any Hi‑Fi Rush follow‑up now officially rests with Krafton. The publisher has completed the transfer of rights from Bethesda Softworks, as reflected in the game’s latest update.
Hi‑Fi Rush was the last Tango Gameworks title released under Bethesda Softworks. While that once seemed like the end of the road for the studio, the Japanese developer has since been acquired by Krafton, which now formally owns the franchise.
The South Korean firm has confirmed it is the official publisher of Hi‑Fi Rush. That change affects the game’s technical side: a service migration is underway to remove dependencies on the Bethesda.net client.
The transfer of all assets — screenshots, videos, descriptions, and store items — is expected to be finished by December 4. Unless unexpected issues arise, the process should not impact saved games, player progress, or access to the title via Steam or Game Pass.
