An online multiplayer mode for 32 players in GTA VI, discussed by Rockstar employees, has surfaced in employment tribunal documents from Edinburgh, although this format lacks official confirmation.

GTA VI may feature a 32-player online mode, as a reference was found in Rockstar documents submitted during an employment dispute in Edinburgh.

The information appeared in Rockstar’s testimony regarding the dismissal of 31 former studio employees. According to the documents, staff members discussed confidential project features on a closed Discord server, which included a “32-player online format.” Rockstar described such details as some of the company’s most heavily guarded secrets.

At the same time, the document does not confirm that GTA VI Online will specifically support 32 participants. It merely indicates that such an option was discussed within the studio. It remains unknown whether this feature will make it into the final version of the game or serve as the sole multiplayer format.

Rockstar compared the security surrounding information on GTA VI to Apple’s iPhone security and the Coca-Cola recipe. Visitors must sign non-disclosure agreements, photography is prohibited, and contractors are accompanied by security guards. Bloomberg previously reported that Rockstar has no current plans to disclose details about GTA VI Online.
