Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 is scheduled to launch on PC on September 23, 2026, according to its Steam page. Skyhook Games’ sequel takes its lawn-care business to the United States, with new equipment and a redesigned career mode. A demo is already available on Steam.

A lawn-care business in the US

The new locations range from suburban gardens to commercial properties and municipal grounds. Players build a business around maintaining these spaces, taking on contracts and choosing the equipment needed for each job.

The career mode now includes a fully explorable 3D headquarters that serves as the company’s base of operations. Skyhook has also reworked systems from the original game in response to player feedback.

Leaf blowers join the equipment line-up

Alongside new mowers and string trimmers, the sequel introduces leaf blowers. Licensed equipment from Kubota, STIGA and SCAG is part of the line-up, extending the range of machines available for different jobs.

The grass system has been rebuilt to make the difference between cut and uncut areas easier to see. Clearing leaves adds another task alongside mowing and trimming, so completing a property involves more than cutting its grass.

Game.Press’ September 11 newsletter also lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. The September 23 release date stated here is the date currently listed for the PC version on Steam.
