HBO Reveals Harry Potter Series Props

The creators of the series have preserved the canonical properties of the main instruments used by the wizards.

HBO has revealed detailed images of the wands belonging to Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Neville Longbottom from the upcoming series.

The creators kept the canonical details intact. Harry received a holly wand with a phoenix feather core, which is connected to Voldemort’s wand. Hermione was given a vine wood wand with a dragon heartstring core, and Ron will continue to use an ash wood wand with a unicorn hair core that previously belonged to his brother Charlie. Neville’s wand specifications have not yet been disclosed, though it is known that he inherited it from his father, Frank Longbottom.

The roles of Harry, Hermione, and Ron in the new adaptation are played by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout. The first season will adapt the novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and will consist of eight episodes. The series is scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2026, on HBO.
