HBO Reveals First Look at The Pitt Ahead of 2027 Return

HBO has released the first teaser for season 3 of The Pitt, offering viewers their first look at the medical drama since season 2 wrapped in mid-April. The 90-second preview delivers a rapid sequence of clips featuring hospital staff, crowded wings, and patients facing various medical crises.

The teaser opens on Shen and Abbot discussing the shift schedule. Both remain skeptical about Dr. Robby returning until he walks into the emergency room and greets Dana. Viewers were left wondering about Robby after the season 2 finale, where he was in a fragile mental state and preparing for a sabbatical centered on riding his bicycle. The new footage shows him back on duty for another demanding shift.

Psychiatric emergencies also take center stage in the new footage. Javadi appears in several sequences, handling emergency psychiatric duties as the staff confronts an influx of patients in distress. The series continues its focus on the psychological toll that emergency medicine takes on healthcare workers.
