Recently, the Half-Life community was drawn to news of a Rocket Lab launch — the company previously worked with Valve’s CEO Gabe Newell to send the garden gnome Chompski into space.
Originally scheduled for December 9, the launch was postponed and is now set to take place practically at the close of The Game Awards ceremony.
Hopeful fans suggest the timing may not be accidental and that Valve could be preparing something.
