Streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has released images from Young Sherlock — a new series that examines the formative years of the famed detective from Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories.
The show is created by Guy Ritchie and stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, known for the After franchise. The series is expected to premiere in 2026.
Set in Oxford in 1870, the plot follows Sherlock as he unravels an extensive conspiracy that will change his life forever. The ensemble also features Colin Firth, Joseph Fiennes, Natasha McElhone, Donal Finn, Max Irons and others.
The first season is planned to comprise eight episodes. An exact release date will be revealed at a later time.
