GTA VI Trailer Features GTA Online Character

This is expected to be far from the only returning character.

During a recent presentation titled “Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Showcase,” the developers showed several missions. Attentive users spotted a familiar face, revealing that Lucia and Jason will meet a character from Grand Theft Auto Online during the story.

Valentina was added to GTA Online in last year’s “Money Fronts” content update. In GTA VI, she asks Lucia and Jason to protect Andres De Leon during a party.

The party gets heated when uninvited guests arrive, forcing the main characters to engage in shootouts and fistfights. The presentation did not show what ultimately happens to Valentina, who was also at the party.

Players are now carefully rewatching the footage to try and find other familiar faces from GTA Online or previous installments in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

GTA VI is scheduled for release on November 19 of this year for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not yet announced a release window for the PC version.
