Ubisoft is making its open-world action-adventure Immortals Fenyx Rising available for free on Windows PC beginning Thursday. To claim the game, visit the Ubisoft Store in your web browser or launch Ubisoft Connect and sign in with your Ubisoft account.
The free claim is available through Dec. 2 and coincides with Ubisoft’s Black Friday promotions, which also began Thursday. Discounts on the Ubisoft Store reach up to 90%. For example, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is discounted 40% to $41.99, Star Wars Outlaws is 70% off at $21 (and has received better-than-expected feedback), and The Division 2 is 75% off at $7.50, among many other deals.
First released in 2020, Immortals Fenyx Rising earned generally favorable reviews, holding a Metascore in the mid-to-high 70s depending on platform on Metacritic. The game unfolds in a vibrant fantasy world inspired by Greek mythology, with players controlling Fenyx as they attempt to rescue the gods and confront foes such as cyclopes and Medusa in fast-paced combat. While some reviewers felt the progression could be somewhat guided, many praised its charm and world design.
Ubisoft says this giveaway celebrates five years of Ubisoft Connect, the platform that enables cross-play, shared progression, and cross-platform achievements across supported titles.
