Ghost Rider starring Ryan Gosling to be released in summer 2028
Marvel Studios has officially confirmed the release date for its upcoming Ghost Rider reboot. The comic book adaptation, featuring Ryan Gosling in the lead role, is slated to arrive in theaters on July 28, 2028.
News of Gosling’s casting and the project’s development first surfaced during this past summer’s Comic-Con. The film is set to be directed by Shawn Levy, known for his work on “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
While specific plot details remain under wraps, the character was previously brought to life by Nicolas Cage. The narrative traditionally centers on Johnny Blaze, a stunt performer who enters into a pact with the devil to save his father.
The 2028 slate for Marvel also includes the highly anticipated new “X-Men” installment (May 5) and “Black Panther 3” (December 15).
