Geralt from The Witcher 3 Added to The Blood of Dawnwalker
Character facial animations must work even in vampire form.
The Blood of Dawnwalker, the new vampire action RPG from the game director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, recently launched on consoles and PC. Thanks to one modder, these two games now share more than just a developer, as Geralt of Rivia has joined the cast.
More specifically, the face of the famous Witcher from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has arrived. Modder Little0nion ported the character’s face into The Blood of Dawnwalker with all of its distinctive details, replacing the face of the original protagonist, Coen.
This is not a static facial texture. The modder stated that the model features characteristic yellow eyes and white hair, alongside fully functional facial animations. The modification also works during moments when the hero transforms into a vampire.
The “Geralt Face Swap for Coen” modification for The Blood of Dawnwalker by Little0nion is available for free on Nexus Mods. The mod requires no additional programs to run; players simply need to place the files into the appropriate game folder.
Previously, modders of The Blood of Dawnwalker attempted on their own to address some of the game’s technical issues and also chose to revise the time limit by substantially extending the timer.
