“Gangsterland” starring Tom Hardy renewed for a third season
Paramount+ has officially greenlit a third season of its gritty crime drama, *MobLand*. Tom Hardy is set to reprise his lead role, joined once again by industry icons Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. In a strong show of confidence, the network announced the renewal well ahead of the second season’s highly anticipated premiere, scheduled for September 18 on Paramount+.
At the heart of *MobLand* lies the volatile power struggle between the Harrigan and Stevenson crime syndicates as they vie for dominance within London’s treacherous underworld. Hardy portrays Harry Da Souza, a cunning professional fixer with deep ties to the formidable Harrigan clan. Brosnan stars as the family patriarch, Conrad Harrigan, while Mirren commands the screen as his wife, Maeve, a formidable and influential matriarch. The upcoming second season will pick up where the debut left off, further escalating the tensions and stakes between the rival factions.
Created and penned by Guy Ritchie, who also serves as executive producer, *MobLand* has established itself as a flagship original drama for the platform. This early renewal highlights Paramount+’s unwavering commitment to the series as it continues to captivate audiences.
