Gameplay Footage From State of Decay 3 Alpha Shows Combat and Vehicles
Developers will invite players to participate in playtests.
Undead Labs participated in Gamescom, where the developers showcased a playable demo of State of Decay 3, allowing attendees to try out the zombie survival alpha version.
Gameplay footage has been published online, demonstrating core combat mechanics, driving, inventory management (equipment can be stored in a vehicle trunk), and the clearing of one of the locations.
The developers are now preparing for a new round of State of Decay 3 testing, and registration has opened on the project’s official website. Players will be gradually invited to test early versions:
Over time, we will expand access to the alpha version and then to the closed beta version for a growing number of players. [State of Decay 3] features our largest map ever, and given the seamless multiplayer capabilities, we really need to take the opportunity to run stress tests and polish the game. If you do not gain access right away, rest assured that many more opportunities will arise over the course of the year for both those already familiar with the franchise and newcomers alike.

State of Decay 3 can be added to your Steam wishlist via the following link. The game will be released on PC as well as consoles.
