The inaugural phase of the promotional campaign for Marvel’s upcoming crossover epic is set to conclude with the release of a fourth teaser.
Marvel has already debuted three distinct teasers for Avengers: Doomsday. One highlights the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, alongside the legendary Fox-era X-Men lineup featuring Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Ian McKellen (Magneto), and James Marsden (Cyclops). Furthermore, a leaked version of the fourth teaser has been circulating online, offering glimpses of Wakanda, Namor, and the newly formed Fantastic Four.
Despite rumors suggesting a broader rollout of clips, industry insider MyTimeToShineHello reported that only four teasers have been officially distributed to theaters. This indicates that fans shouldn’t expect a fifth or sixth segment, debunking earlier lists that hinted at a dedicated Doctor Doom teaser.
Previous reports from insiders suggested that Doctor Doom’s formal introduction has been pushed to the next stage of the film’s marketing strategy. Now, the timeline for the first full-length trailer has finally come into focus.
According to TrailerTrack, the world premiere of the full Avengers: Doomsday trailer is scheduled for Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026. Marvel is reportedly orchestrating an event of unprecedented scale, aiming to replicate the massive cultural impact of Avengers: Endgame and secure its position as the year’s most significant cinematic milestone.
However, the studio may not need to work hard to generate excitement. Various surveys and Google metrics in the U.S. reveal that Avengers: Doomsday is comfortably the most anticipated film of the year. It currently leads interest levels for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three—which shares the same release date—by a factor of more than 25 to 1.
Avengers: Doomsday is slated to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
