First promo for the new Hercule Poirot released
BBC and BritBox have unveiled a first-look image of Edward Bluemel as a young Hercule Poirot in the upcoming series, Hercule. This six-part drama will explore the legendary detective’s formative years, long before the events depicted in Agatha Christie’s original novels.
The narrative is set in London, following Poirot as he embarks on his early career as a private investigator.
Edward Bluemel is widely recognized for his roles in My Lady Jane and Killing Eve.
The series is penned by Benji Walters, with Jonny Campbell attached to direct the opening episodes. While an official premiere date has yet to be confirmed, the show is slated for a 2027 release.
