Nintendo has unveiled the first images from the forthcoming screen adaptation of the game The Legend of Zelda. The film is set to hit theaters on May 7, 2027.
The plot takes place in the enchanted realm of Hyrule, where Princess Zelda and the young hero Link must defend the mystical Triforce of Wisdom from the malevolent sorcerer Ganon.
The leads are played by Bo Bragason (Outlaw Nell) and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (The Haunting of Bly Manor). The picture is directed by Wes Ball (The Maze Runner, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes).
