First Diablo V Teaser Suggests Diablo Won and Prepares Players for a New Era
Gifts are currently being given away for Diablo IV as part of a Twitch promotion.
During the September presentation at BlizzCon 2026, the developers unveiled a teaser for Diablo V. The debut short trailer showed the logo and revealed the synopsis. According to the plot, Sanctuary has fallen, and Diablo has won.
Diablo V does not have a specific release date yet, but Blizzard Entertainment has outlined a release window, with the ARPG launch expected in the spring of 2029.
Right now, the developers urge fans to follow the news: a promotional page for the game has been launched on the company website.
Today at 11:45 PM Moscow time, the developers plan to host an event titled “Diablo V: Towards a New Era”. The creators of the project will share their plans “for this ruined world and your role in it”. The broadcast will be held on the official Twitch channel of the franchise, as well as on YouTube.
A Twitch Drops campaign is currently running for the current Diablo IV, allowing players to receive several in-game gifts for watching streams.

During BlizzCon 2026, the Blizzard Entertainment team also introduced a new installment in the StarCraft franchise. However, details of the project are not being disclosed yet, and the release will take several years to wait.
