Geese Tapped as Final Headliner for End of the Road 2026
The End of the Road Festival has officially unveiled Geese as the final addition to its headline roster, solidifying what is shaping up to be one of the most musically diverse lineups of the 2026 British festival circuit.
The Brooklyn-based rockers join an impressive, genre-spanning bill that includes legendary icons Pulp, the captivating CMAT, indie pioneer Mac DeMarco, and the experimental Super Furry Animals. The roster also boasts a wealth of talent including Earl Sweatshirt with MIKE, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Kurt Vile and the Violators, and Kelly Lee Owens.
Initially teased as a “secret headliner,” Geese is scheduled to take the Woods stage on Thursday, September 3. This performance marks a significant return for the band to the Dorset festival grounds, following their standout set on the Big Top stage back in 2023.
Geese’s trajectory has been nothing short of meteoric. Following the critical acclaim of their third studio album, Getting Killed, released last summer, the group has cemented its reputation as a powerhouse in modern rock. Their ascent was further validated at the 2026 BRIT Awards, where they took home the trophy for International Group of the Year.
As End of the Road prepares to commemorate its 20th anniversary at the idyllic Larmer Tree Gardens from September 3–6, the festival remains a cornerstone of independent music in the U.K. Since its inception in 2006, the event has earned a reputation for being the definitive closing celebration of the summer season.
Notably, Pulp’s highly anticipated headline set remains their exclusive U.K. festival appearance for 2026. Their recent comeback album, More, topped the Official Albums Chart and earned a prestigious Mercury Prize nod. The band has promised an unconventional set, advising fans via X (formerly Twitter) to “expect the unexpected” for a show that defies typical performance standards.
