FILM.ru invites you to a special screening of the film “Mid90s”

We are thrilled to launch the new FILM.ru Film Club format—featuring exclusive screenings of cult classics paired with insightful discussions and special guests.

Join us on August 29 as we revisit one of A24‘s most heartfelt gems: Jonah Hill’s directorial debut, a poignant love letter to the generation that came of age in the mid-90s.

Members of the FILM.ru Film Club will have the opportunity to experience this film on the big screen at the KINO Okko Afimall City theater, followed by an engaging post-screening discussion with a special guest speaker.

About the film:

Set in mid-90s California, where CDs hadn’t yet replaced cassettes and skateboarding defined street culture, the story follows young Stevie. When he falls in with a crew of local skaters, he embarks on a journey of friendship, freedom, and the inevitable growing pains that shape one’s identity.
