Fateful Encounter: Models Showcase Cosplay of Xal’atath and Priestesses from World of Warcraft

Cosplayer Svetlana “ritsured” Yuryeva and model-photographer Alleria “Tanuki” Hegel stepped into the World of Warcraft universe to embody Xal’atath and the Priestess.

Not all players are satisfied with the current state of World of Warcraft, yet the game still has a large community of fans who log in every day (and almost certainly hope for a future WoW 2).

Svetlana “ritsured” Yuryeva and Alleria “Tanuki” Hegel also journeyed across Azeroth to treat Warcraft fans to their newest creations.

They portray the notorious entity Xal’atath—once bound inside a legendary blade—and the Priestess who discovered that “weapon” during a questline in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Xal’atath existed long before the Horde and the Alliance arose—an era when the Old Gods and their Dark Empire held the world in shadow. After making a pact with N’Zoth, she escaped her prison by inhabiting the body of the deceased elf Inanis. Xal’atath is the main antagonist of the expansion The War Within.
