Fan Shows Fallout 3 Locations with Classic Isometric Camera
A creator known as Dreaming_of_Rlyeh has shared a creative experiment reimagining iconic locations from Fallout 3 in the style of the franchise’s classic isometric entries.
The showcase includes isometric perspectives of Tenpenny Tower, Big Town, Canterbury Commons, Germantown Police HQ, and Paradise Falls:
The concept caught the attention of community members. Reddit user Reading_Rambo220 suggested that Bethesda Game Studios should consider partnering with an outside team for a spin-off in that format:
If Bethesda allowed Larian or someone else to make something like this as a spin-off Fallout project, it would be incredible. Baldur’s Gate 3, the newer XCOM games, and Owlcat Games titles like Rogue Trader show that a market for these projects exists. I think using the Fallout franchise, a game like that could sell very well.
Bethesda Game Studios previously announced several future Fallout projects, including a mainline fifth installment, remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, and a project developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Release dates and launch windows for these titles have not yet been announced.
