If you’ve spent time wandering the homes of Ossex, you may have heard whispers about a girl who vanished into a mirror. These tales hint at the strange properties governing the mirrors scattered throughout Tenebrous Isle. Below, we break down how these portals function and provide a complete guide to locating every mirror in the game.

Understanding the Mirrors of Tenebrous Isle

Mirrors in Mina the Hollower act as gateways to the Astral Orrery, specifically the realm known as Mirror’s End. Each reflective surface on Tenebrous Isle is linked to this ethereal dimension, allowing for rapid traversal across the map. To utilize this network, you must first discover and activate the mirrors in their respective island locations.

Each mirror is color-coded to a specific region:

• Queensbury Crypt: Blue
• Bone Beach: Red
• Coltrane Peak: Pink
• Nox’s Bayou: Green
• Septemburg: Orange

Locating these is essential: there is a hidden spark generator within the Astral Orrery, and you must activate at least one combination of three mirrors to advance to the subsequent area.

In the heart of Mirror’s End, a path to the north is initially obstructed. Activating specific mirrors will clear the corresponding color-coded barriers. You must activate at least three. To reach the spark generator efficiently, use one of the following seven configurations:

How to Traverse Through Mirrors

To enter a mirror, simply run directly into the glass. Do not press the interaction button; instead, hold the directional input toward the mirror until you are whisked away to the Astral Orrery. Once you arrive, be sure to strike the gold mechanism to unlock the room; this anchors your progress, allowing you to return to Mirror’s End through any previously activated mirror.

Mirror Locations Across Tenebrous Isle

There are six primary mirrors scattered across the island. Note that the mirror located in the house in Ossex cannot be entered through conventional means—it functions only as an exit—so you can safely disregard it for your travel purposes.

• Queensbury Crypt: Statue Head Hall
• Bone Beach: Worm’s Back

• Nox’s Bayou: Moonlit Path

Radiant Manor Mirror — Grand Hall

This is the first mirror you will encounter. It is positioned prominently as soon as you step into the foyer of the manor.

Queensbury Crypt Mirror — Statue Head Hall

Found within Statue Head Hall—the area where you must restore two statue heads—this mirror is hidden. You must burrow into the wall-mounted candle to access the secret chamber housing the mirror.

Bone Beach Mirror — Worm’s Back

After navigating through the giant worm, you will emerge in the Worm’s Back area. Locate the tent in this zone and burrow into it to uncover the hidden mirror.

Coltrane Peak Mirror — Icebound Cavern

This mirror is located after the boss encounter with the Frozen Horror. Head north from the boss arena, then look for a wall to burrow into on the right-hand side of the room.

Nox’s Bayou Mirror — Moonlit Path

Access the Moonlit Path via the southwest exit of Big Lagoon (ensure you have flooded the area first). Scale the path until you defeat the Mock Moon; the mirror is located in the room immediately to the north.

Septemburg Mirror — Farm House (Crow Town)

Upon entering Crow Town, cross the bridge and head to the bottom-left corner of the settlement. Look for the house where a crow bursts out; enter, climb to the second floor, and you will find the mirror waiting there.
