The grand strategy Europa Universalis 5 is approaching release, and Paradox Interactive has reminded players of the game’s system requirements.
Those targeting 30 FPS at 1080p on “Low” graphics settings will be well-served by a GTX 1060 or RX 580-level GPU and 16 GB of RAM.
To achieve 60 FPS at 1080p on “Ultra” settings, an RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT is recommended, along with 32 GB of memory.
In both cases, using an SSD is advised.
Europa Universalis 5 is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2025. The developers have released a dedicated guide that walks through the game’s various systems.
