Europa Universalis 5 Launches and Instantly Sets New Franchise Record on Steam
Paradox Interactive’s latest release has drawn considerable attention.
In early November, the new grand strategy Europa Universalis 5 launched on PC via Steam.
Shortly after release, Europa Universalis 5 surpassed 60,000 concurrent players on Steam — the strongest peak in the Europa Universalis series to date.
[The new installment] expands the core premise of the series — guiding and advancing nations from around the world within a meticulously researched historical setting. It features deeper diplomatic options, a redesigned military system, and enhanced logistics that will challenge even seasoned strategy enthusiasts.
Several DLCs are planned for Europa Universalis 5 next year, including The Auld Alliance, which adds historical content for France and Scotland.
