Neowiz is exploring alternative platforms for the game’s PC release.
NEOWIZ has officially confirmed that the PC release of Brown Dust 2 on Steam has been canceled.
According to NEOWIZ, discussions with Valve revealed an issue that cannot be resolved in the game’s current build. While the company has not disclosed specific details, all signs point to the fact that complying with Steam’s updated policies—likely tied to restrictions related to payment system rules—would require substantial changes that might alter Brown Dust 2’s character and overall quality.
As a result, NEOWIZ has decided to pursue other PC distribution options for Brown Dust 2. Announcements about new storefronts will be made at a later date.
Brown Dust 2 remains available on Android and iOS, and the mobile edition can also be run on a PC via Google Play.
