Eleven Fights Ghosts in Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 Season 2 Trailer

The heroes must stop the emergence of another gate to the Upside Down.

Netflix has released a trailer for the second season of the animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85. The continuation will consist of eight half-hour episodes and will premiere on the service on September 17.

The events of the second season unfold ahead of Valentine’s Day. Hawkins faces ghostly phenomena and a swarm of mysterious creatures against which even Eleven is powerless. The heroes must discover their origin before new gates to the Upside Down open in the city.

Showrunner Eric Robles also promised to showcase previously unknown locations in Hawkins. One of the new locations will be a mine that has not been explored in either the main series or the first season of the spin-off:

The animated series takes place between the second and third seasons of the original Stranger Things. Eleven has already closed the gate at the Hawkins laboratory, but several months remain before the opening of the Starcourt Mall and the appearance of the Soviet base.
