Early GTA VI gameplay footage leaked online — fans examine Rockstar’s game mechanics
Fans now have fresh material to examine.
A recent leak revealed new Grand Theft Auto VI footage. A former Rockstar developer uploaded a demo reel showcasing animations he created for the project.
The clip featured snippets from an early build, where character and environment models had not yet received their final textures.
From the scenes shown, it looks like GTA VI will let players rent bicycles and ride in the bed of a pickup.
Site administrators tried to remove the material quickly, but a number of enthusiasts managed to preserve copies.
In GTA-focused communities people are ribbing the developers — “Rockstar employee, I see you” — a nod to the fact that posts are now being watched closely so leaked footage can be taken down fast.
