EA quietly removed the Battlefield 6 skin that angered fans
The Wicked Grin skin never made it into the shooter’s internal store.
Battlefield Studios, without any announcement or fanfare, quietly removed the Wicked Grin skin for the Pax Armata PMC assault trooper from Battlefield 6. The vivid blue camouflage that was expected to launch with the game’s first season never arrived in the in-game shop.
Players report that availability might depend on the region, but the likeliest explanations are that the skin has been removed permanently or will be redesigned with more subdued coloration.
At one point Wicked Grin sparked some of the most heated debates about the developers’ artistic direction and the promised restraint of cosmetic bundles — reportedly even leading some players to refuse revives for teammates wearing the skin.
