Fans will be able to add physical copies of Dying Light: The Beast to their collections.

Developers and fans are celebrating the first anniversary of Dying Light: The Beast this September. It was recently revealed that the parkour action game will receive several full physical editions.

However, there is a catch: the editions are being prepared exclusively for PlayStation 5. There will be no release for Nintendo Switch or Switch 2.

Super Rare Games published a frequently asked questions section explaining why they decided to present a physical edition of Dying Light:

We strive to support physical releases on PlayStation 5 regardless of the scale of the game [indie or AAA]. Amidst the changing future of physical versions for PlayStation games, we want to do our part to keep physical copies available on shelves and provide players with a wide selection of must-have projects.

Super Rare Games has prepared three different editions in total, all of which include the full version of the game:

  • [Anniversary Edition] Dying Light: The Beast Definitive Edition (PS5) — priced at $192. The bundle includes the game, a poster, a hardcover artbook, a soundtrack on discs, a Castor Woods map, two metal badges, six postcards, a sticker sheet, and a Castor Woods patch.
  • PS5#31 – Dying Light: The Beast Definitive Edition (PS5) — priced at $72. The contents include the game, a manual, instructions for claiming Outpost digital bonuses, a branded sticker, and a slipcover.
  • [Retail Version] Dying Light: The Beast Definitive Edition (PS5) — priced at $66. Buyers will receive the game and a manual.
