During the first year of Dying Light: The Beast, players spent 11,000 years in the game, destroyed 8.6 billion enemies, and died 39 million times.
Dying Light: The Beast celebrated its first anniversary, and Techland revealed player statistics: over the year, players spent 11,000 years in the game and died 39 million times, most frequently at the hands of the Volatile.
In total, players completed 1 billion quests, ran 52 million game sessions, and destroyed 8.6 billion enemies. The Beast mode was used 345 million times.
Co-op mode saw 1.7 million players spend more than 4,000 years there. Players also charged flashlight batteries more than 6 million times and managed to kill over 6,500 Volatiles with pitchforks.

Players most frequently crafted repair kits, and among supplies, they preferred drinks, water, and soda.
For the first anniversary, Techland also announced physical editions of Dying Light: The Beast. All of them contain the PS5 version, and pre-orders are open until October 16. The game was released on September 18, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
