Dragon Age Fan Revives Forgotten Game — Reworks and Releases Free Version of DA: The Last Court

A fan set out to preserve a beloved project.

In October, Eglwyswrw drew attention back to the Dragon Age: The Last Court project. The browser game had been taken offline, and he decided to safeguard it.

The enthusiast did more than copy the original files — he refined several elements (the added lines reportedly make up “less than 2% of the script”). The revival effort recently reached a key milestone with the release of update 2.0; from now on, Eglwyswrw plans to issue only minor patches to fix bugs and typos.

The latest build adds new illustrations, increases the number of save slots, and introduces dozens of additional events and assets.

“The Last Court: A Dragon Age Adaptation” is playable in a browser — the project is hosted on itch.io. Files for offline play have also been released online.
