Certain interface elements can occasionally lead to unintended spending.
The Diablo IV team is preparing to deploy patch 2.4.3. As usual, Blizzard Entertainment has published the full patch notes ahead of the release. The update contains various technical fixes and specifically addresses situations in which players were accidentally spending the premium currency, Platinum.
Previously, members of the Diablo IV community reported accidentally spending Platinum when claiming rewards from Battle Pass reliquaries — this will be addressed:
The purchase-confirmation controls in Battle Pass reliquaries have been revised to make redeeming rewards with Approval Tokens quicker and more intuitive. The button that previously claimed rewards will now be used to exchange Approval Tokens for those rewards. This adjustment is intended to streamline the claiming flow and prevent scenarios where players accidentally spent Platinum to obtain rewards.
The requirements for the “First Aid” achievement will be changed. Players who have already unlocked the achievement will not have their progress reset.
· Previously: fully upgrade a Health Potion.
· Now: use a Health Potion 1,000 times.
Bug fixes
· Fixed an issue where Battle Pass tokens were not being consumed correctly if a player had multiple unused premium Battle Pass tokens from previous seasons.
· Fixed an issue where Chaos Rifts sometimes failed to open Chaos Portals during Hell Tide.
· Fixed an issue where enemies emerging from Chaos Rifts could spawn outside the intended boundaries.
· Fixed an issue where the secret quest to seal Chaos Rifts could be offered in the Eternal Realm.
· Fixed an issue where enemies could spawn inside the walls of Nightmare Dungeons.
· Various improvements have been made to performance, stability, and graphical fidelity.
Patch 2.4.3 for Diablo IV is scheduled for release on November 4, 2025.
